Hamish's opened in August 2020. You can find us at the Old Moorcock Inn between Blacko and Gisburn.
Hamish Imlach was a legend in the folk music world, born in Calcutta in 1940 to Scottish parents. He mentored many musicians including Billy Connolly, John Martyn and Christy Moore. Hamish was a regular favourite in the music scene in Lancashire & Yorkshire. One of Hamish's dreams was to open a restaurant however he never realised this before he died. Fiona, one of Hamish's daughters is the owner and shares his dreams and passion for good food and drink.
Our great coffee is roasted for us and is available to buy.. We use top of the range barista coffee equipment and train our staff to make sure we only serve you the best.
Sunny days guarantee that our patio will be full of guests enjoying a drink or treat. On not-so-sunny days, we offer comfortable seating inside our cafe with free wifi
